Power Cycle Test
From devices to systems, we provide extensive support for your challenges! We respond to requests for power cycle testing, including AEC-Q101.
At WTI, which undertakes the design contracting of devices and information communication equipment, we conduct "Power Cycle Testing" in collaboration with partner companies that have dedicated testing rooms and personnel secured. In power modules, handling high power at the kW level generates thermal stress due to the repeated ON/OFF cycling, leading to symptoms such as performance degradation, failure of the product, and destruction of the product due to reduced heat dissipation caused by the deterioration of the grease used for installation. The corresponding tests are established as standards, specifically JEITA-ED-4701/601 602 603. For automotive electronic components, they are standardized under AEC-Q101. Additionally, various tests are conducted under different conditions depending on the purpose, such as grease evaluation tests. 【Features】 ■ In addition to static characteristic evaluation and switching evaluation of power modules, we can also support structural development through thermal and stress analysis. ■ We have a system in place that can support not only individual modules but also the development of power systems such as DC-DC converters. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
